OUR APPROACH
Since its inception in 1988, Tricon has focused on locating North America’s best residential real estate development opportunities and working with the best developers in the United States and Canada.
Tricon has aligned the interests of our various stakeholders (public company shareholders, investors in our limited partnerships, employees) such that each group benefits from our strong continued investment performance.
Tricon provides shareholders with three significant revenue streams:
+ Management Fees: Contractual fees earned from the management of limited partnership funds.
+ Performance Fees: Fees earned from achieving target investment returns for limited partnership funds.
+ Investment Income: Income earned from co-investing in funds and from direct investments in residential real estate development projects which will be warehoused until new funds are formed.
Tricon believes that our business fills a severely undercapitalized niche in North America. We have been able to continually raise larger investment funds as institutional investors recognize the benefits of having exposure to the residential real estate industry. We strive to maintain an open line of communication with our investors through our website, press releases, transparent reporting and good corporate governance.
