Tricon X Limited Partnership is a dedicated Canadian fund with committed capital of approximately C$100 million (including syndicated investments). Tricon X is focused on providing capital for institutional quality, condominium and land development investments in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary.

Tricon’s Canadian investment funds have historically been able to capitalize on opportunities created by increased urban intensification, particularly in Toronto where strong population growth and policies restricting suburban expansion and have led to a movement back to the city. We have also been successful in both Edmonton and Calgary, which have seen significant population growth due to the strength of their respective economies, which in turn have been fuelled by strong commodity and oil prices. This has led to the continued growth of the housing markets in these cities, both of which still offer relatively affordable suburban subdivisions within an easy commute of the major employment nodes.
